COMFORT & CARE CREW
Serving with Compassion. Caring with Purpose.
Our Vision
Our vision is to serve as a foundation for hope and love, caring for our church and community as Jesus did.
Our Mission
Our mission is to the hands and feet of Jesus through Generation Life Church communicating needs and providing comfort, care, and support as we serve both our church and community.
How We Care
Meal Trains
Meal Train Requests: Church meal train requests will come through this team where a call tree will be developed to engage others to ensure that we provide equitable support across the congregation
Meal Train Policy: Each meal train will run for two weeks every other day unless circumstances dictate otherwise. A gift card will count as a meal towards a specific open day.
Types of Needs Supported: Surgery, illness, births, deaths, and other immediate hardships.
Ways We Care
Caring Calendar: Sign up to follow with those who have encountered hardships such as job loss or the death of a loved one.
Meal Support: Provide meals through our meal train ministry to bring comfort and care during life’s challenging times.
Meals After Funerals: When our new church building is complete, we will provide meals after funerals to support families and loved ones.
Christmas Outreach
Samaritan’s Purse Shoeboxes: Provide gift-filled shoeboxes to children around the world
Orange County’s Toys for Kids: Help bring joy to children in the foster care system.
Angel Tree: Support OCIM and needs without our own congregation during Christmas
Christmas Wreaths: Create and donate wreaths for the Ronald McDonald House.
